Brian Herrick is an artist, teacher, swimmer, and lover of the ocean. He found art at an early age in the form of comic books, landscapes, and Russian icons. He also found swimming at about the same time, and eventually these worlds collided. Born in South Dakota, and raised in Alaska, the artist was formed by cold beautiful places. Brian lives in San Francisco with his wife, where they swim with seals and eat burritos on the beach.
